I once did a 50 Km march with backpack (tent, food etc.) in a day
(morning to evening). I don't know about today, but i could probably
do 30 Km with the right footwear (important!). I heard of people
who did 60 and 70 in a day. More fit persons could probably do more?.=20
I once heard that you usually run 7-9 Km/hour, so walking would be=20
less (go figure).
