No. It was mainly a "political" problem.

If you need more info on the code I suggest you get in touch with
Gabriel Robert (gorgoh at gorgoh.com) or Sameh Chaffik
(s.chafik at libertysurf.fr). The latter being the former AI lead, but
the former speaking much better english (and now a phD in AI).
